NATALIE YORK

Designer, Woodworker, Mountain Lover, Trophy Truck Enthusiast

Natalie’s goal is to create a voice for the unspoken world. Encourage her fellow introverts to get out there and try something new. She understands how intimidating it is to walk into a ski shop for the first time and how alienating the auto industry can be. The articles in the blog are written from Natalie’s unique perspective. An honest opinion backed by her personal struggles and triumphs through her own experiences. All with the hope to motivate the world and set an example for the closeted adventurer.

Growing up in the concrete jungle of Los Angeles, she discovered her passion and began her career in architecture. But her love for adventure was limited to the coastline. Following graduation from college she moved to Colorado’s Rocky Mountains where she currently lives with her black lab Henri.

Natalie is driven from being assured from a young age she was not good enough, woman are not strong enough. Instead of succumbing to the the stereotypical norms, she transformed this into an opportunity for determination and resiliency. By making herself vulnerable and stepping into an unknown world herself by writing this blog, she hopes to influence others to do the same.

Natalie is closing in in a decade of life in Colorado. She has successfully and unsuccessfully dipped her toes into a variety of new adventures. You can usually find her in the woodshop, skiing the rocky mountain pow or mountain biking with Adam. Please feel comfortable reaching out to Natalie with any questions.
